Spaghetti

This spaghetti has a veggie twist, and meat in the sauce is optional.

Serves 4

INGREDIENTS:

1 pound ground beef (optional)

1 zucchini (chopped)

1 yellow squash (chopped)

2 tbsp olive oil

2 cloves garlic (minced)

2 cans tomato sauce

1 tsp dried basil

1 tsp dried parsley

1 tsp dried oregano

salt and pepper to taste

8 oz spaghetti noodles

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Cook ground beef over medium-high heat
  2. In separate pan, heat olive oil over medium to medium-high heat
  3. Brown garlic in olive oil
  4. Add squash and zucchini to garlic, saute until tender
  5. Add tomato sauce, seasonings, and meat to mixture, simmer over low heat for 5-10 minutes
  6. Meanwhile, boil water and cook noodles to desired tenderness
  7. Spoon sauce over noodles and enjoy!
