Spaghetti
This spaghetti has a veggie twist, and meat in the sauce is optional.
Serves 4
INGREDIENTS:
1 pound ground beef (optional)
1 zucchini (chopped)
1 yellow squash (chopped)
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic (minced)
2 cans tomato sauce
1 tsp dried basil
1 tsp dried parsley
1 tsp dried oregano
salt and pepper to taste
8 oz spaghetti noodles
DIRECTIONS:
- Cook ground beef over medium-high heat
- In separate pan, heat olive oil over medium to medium-high heat
- Brown garlic in olive oil
- Add squash and zucchini to garlic, saute until tender
- Add tomato sauce, seasonings, and meat to mixture, simmer over low heat for 5-10 minutes
- Meanwhile, boil water and cook noodles to desired tenderness
- Spoon sauce over noodles and enjoy!
