Ground Beef Stroganoff
I was requested to make beef stroganoff, so I went on a search for a good recipe. It took a long while to find one that sounded tasty, but the search paid off. The result is very, very tasty!
Serves 4
INGREDIENTS:
1 pound ground beef
2 tbsp whole wheat flour
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp paprika
1/4 cup butter
1 14 oz can cream of mushroom soup
4 oz button mushrooms, chopped
1 cup sour cream
1/2 pound egg noodles
DIRECTIONS:
- Combine meat, flour, salt, pepper, and paprika, mix well
- Melt butter in a large frying pan, add meat mixture and cook until no longer pink, ~10 minutes
- Add soup and mushrooms, cook ~5-10 minutes
- Add sour cream, mix thoroughly, simmer until thickened
- Meanwhile, boil water and cook noodles to desired tenderness
- Spoon sauce over noodles, and enjoy!
