Garlic Rosemary Chicken
My college roommates loved when I made this meal. It was her favorite!
Serves 2
INGREDIENTS:
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 large egg
1/2 cup breadcrumbs (Check out our online store for the type we recommend)
1 tsp dried basil (or 3 tsp fresh basil)
1 tsp dried oregano (or 3 tsp fresh oregano)
5 tbsp butter, melted
2 cloves of garlic, minced (feel free to add as much as you like)
6 sprigs fresh rosemary
DIRECTIONS:
- Whisk egg in bowl
- Mix breadcrumbs, basil, and oregano
- Dredge chicken in egg
- Coat both sides of chicken with breadcrumb mixture, place in oven proof dish
- Add garlic to butter and melt in microwave (~30 sec)
- Poor garlic butter mixture over chicken in pan
- Place 3 sprigs of rosemary on each chicken breast
- Bake at 400° for 20 min, flip, and bake another 10 min (time is estimated for ~1 inch thick chicken breasts)
- Enjoy!
